This month's featured employee is Crystal Empalmado. Crystal, who has been an account manager with Rental Advisor for four years, lives with her husband and three children in Orem, Utah. When asked to describe her role as an account manager, she explained, "My number one job is to ensure that my owners are happy. If they aren't happy, then I am not doing something right! This could mean anything from marketing the home, to working with reps from different listing sites, to being an advocate for our home owners." What's her favorite part of the job? "I love to share my knowledge with vacation home owners. I see myself as an expert because I take time to learn all that I can about vacation home rentals through reading blogs, watching videos, etc. That way owners can truly use me as a resource," Crystal said. When she's not working, Crystal loves spending time outdoors. "I love being outside," she explained. "I surfed almost every day when I lived in Hawaii. I also love to dance. I grew up dancing Hula with a halau in Sacramento, California and I still dance to this day. I was even lucky enough to dance at the Polynesian Cultural Center with my husband while we were students at BYU in Hawaii."
